OATH
TO VANQUISH (Lebanon) “Applied Schizophrenic Science” (CD) -
Mixed and mastered by Colin Davis at "Imperial Mastering",
California, USA - Keyboards on "Sorrow in Adornment" played by
Abdo Sadek - 2006 Grindethic Records. -
Another little gem
from GRINDETHIC RECORDS, there’s nothing to do that because this
English seal has clinical eye, here they display OATH TO
VANQUISH, a band that hails from Lebanon, which bombs us in an
insensitive way, orgiastic anytime you listen to it!
The artwork is full colored; the cover is really putrid and
maleficent.
The specialized critic has not scrimped in praising the work of
these demons and actually I add myself to this burst of great
commentaries because they deserve that: OATH TO VANQUISH is a
kick ass, brillian Grind/Death Black Metal band!!!
The first theme is “Pear Of Anguish”, tremendous change of
voices, wild roars and completely cavernous guttural voices, an
authentic tornado of rotting and badness, perfect for violent
mosh, the second track is “Dearly Beheaded”, very good subject,
per moments a vocal fusion between old CANNIBAL CORPSE and
PATOLOGICUM (Pol), I am overwhelmed with this extraordinary band!
The third track is “Funeral in F Sharp”, there are vocal
passages influenced by Black Norwegian Metal bands, I must say
that the percussion is sweeping, then comes “Executive Onslaught”,
as I like, violence from the beginning, without contemplations,
blow by blow! It follows “Toxic Bowel Manoeuvre”, with terribly
exterminating vomits, afterwards continuous “Sulphuric Semen”,
an infernal track that will definitively drive you crazy! Later
we have “Symptoms of Accrued Transgression”, a noisy, uproarious
theme with nihilist riffs, from another dimension! The
penultimate theme is “Sorrow in Adornment”, brief interlude that
gives step to the final song “Coat-Hanger Massacre”, an ending
that will leave your soul in pieces and your mind in ruins.
As additional data I tell you that who mixed and mastered this
album was nothing less than Colin Davis from VILE!
In main lines this is a frightful album, not even in my darkest
dreams I had glimpsed something like this; this material is
highly corrosive and recommendable, just for the most brutal
Metal insane maniacs!
