F.K.Ü. (Freddy Krueger's Ünderwear) (Sweden) “Metal Moshing Mad” (CD) – Executive Producer Freddy Krueger – Produced by Daniel Bergstrand and F.K.Ü. – Recorded in 9 days, 1999 at Dug - Out, Uppsala, Sweden – Engineered & mixed by Daniel Bergstrand – Project Coordinator : Amanda Krueger – Mastered at Cutting Room. This Edition Re – Mastered by Great Scot! Audio 2007. Bonus The classic 18 song Demo “Beware Of The Evil Underwear”– Razorback Records 2007.- Once again I thank my friend Jill of RAZORBACK RECORDS.
From Sweden this psychotic Horror Thrash Metal arrives, fuck, the presentation is the shit!, cover is totally full colored and printed in couch paper, it shows a damn drawing where legendary characters appear: horror films icons like Freddy Krueger, Jason, Pinhead, Leatherface, Michael Myers and Frank Zito; on the inside you’ve got lyrics and totally 80’s photos collage, in the backcover there’s a giant band photo where the guys are making funny faces, similar to “Reign in Blood”.
This is the re-edition of “Metal Moshing Mad” (Black Diamond Productions, 1999), this time released by deadly RAZORBACK RECORDS (2007) which has re-mastered the album; we’re already used to extraordinary products when it comes to this label, they cared enough to include a Bonus track: “Beware Of The Evil Ünderwear” (Pro-Mosh Productions, demo cassette 1998).
“Metal Moshing Mad” has 22 songs of fucking extraordinary Old School Thrash Metal with influences in North American bands like EXODUS, OVERKILL, S.O.D and ANTHRAX (“Fistful of Metal” era) with themes that show their loyalty to 80’s Metal and their worship to horror films.
Themes as “Metal Moshing Mad” are hits from the begging to the end, imagine a voice between Steve “Zetro” Souza and Bobby “Blitz” Ellsworth singing “Metal Thrashing Mad” (ANTHRAX)… what a good band for fuck’s sake! They just keep me in explosive mosh! Lyrics are the shit, you feel very proud to be a Metalhead when listening to something like this.
Tracks as “Maniac” reveal all the cult towards horror cinema, “Maniac” is indeed a cult film from 1980! I recommend “Bus Bitch Die”, a deafening swirl with brutal riffs where the vocal burst is just fuckin’ evil; you also have “Bus Bitch Die Pt. 2” which is a 5-second savagery… many bands that have short tracks used to play any bullshit to get out of trouble, however, this time F.K.Ü orchestrates a very complete song, with excellent sound, precise riffs and vocal changes!
… And if you already shitted your pants, victim of panic, yo’re not prepared for “Beware Of The Evil Ünderwear” (demo cassette 1998) that is totally Re–mastered with an aggressive sound! Seasoned bastard Thrash, the entire Demo is malevolent, it includes very colorful and short tracks like “Vavans” (0: 06”), “Tommy Lee Sucks” (0: 04”), and “Fudge Mouth” (0: 04”)… hahahaha and “Fudge Lip”, song that it’s supposed to last 4' 30”, but it’s such hilarious since it sounds only 2” and then you must wait 4´25” of pure silence to hear 3” of howls at the end!
This is a piece of incalculable value for all worshippers of Old Thrasher Hordes with bulletproof balls; a basic disc for all gold-time lovers and for all those 80’s nostalgic guys who still follow showing no mercy and raising their fist shouting THRASH TILL DEATH!!!
